INTERIOR DESIGN, COLOR AND TEXTURES

There is something much deeper in Interior Design, something that transcends the sensitivity of mastering or choosing colors well. There is something behind it that can move and stir you, something that only textures manage to express. I admit that if I had to talk about the artistic side of Interior Design, it would be this: textures.

In Interior Design, believe it or not, the scientific aspect predominates over the artistic one, so you are almost always detached from concepts of beauty. In the end, the design must be coherent with the function the space will serve.

With textures, you confront your fears, your solitude, the hours of development, but you also express yourself. The interpretation is free and risky; perhaps you alone feel the space this way. Are you composing an experimental piece of Scandinavian jazz or creating the summer hit that everyone will dance to but will soon be forgotten? And you, what do you think?
